To continue providing high-performance billing services
for clients in the telecom industry, MDS wanted to gain
more storage capacity and accelerate batch processing.
After working with Meridian IT to deploy an IBM Flash-
System V9000, MDS has seen efficiency gains and billing
routines run more than 24 times faster – resulting in a
more reliable and scalable service for its clients.

Business Challenge

Telecommunications solution provider MDS found that
its existing storage system was nearing capacity. Billing
routines were taking many hours to complete – leading
to increased overheads as staff worked overtime to
monitor and resolve issues.
